Michelle Ahearn
Michelle Ahearn is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from SUNY Downstate with her Master’s of Science in Nursing. Prior to pursuing graduate school, she attended Binghamton University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in both biology and nursing. She has since worked for more than five years as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting.
Her experience caring for acutely ill patients, many with poorly managed chronic conditions, allowed her to see the larger role that primary care plays in disease management and prevention. This work inspired her to become a nurse practitioner where she could become involved in the preventative care and health maintenance of her patients.
